The 74th Lilac Festival is one we won't soon forget!   It was such a busy 10 days of fun events, beautiful sights and smells, and the hustle and bustle of having YOU visit! Here are some of our favorite captured moments from the Lilac Parade this past week!

Mackinac Island is truly a community like no other, especially during the winter. Living on Mackinac Island comes with a unique set of challenges, especially when the lake freezes over and the boat stops running.  One way Mackinac Island comes together during the winter is in the hauling of groceries across the ice bridge. Locals know to expect a slight delay during the winter in the timing of deliveries and if the weather is especially bad, they know groceries may not arrive (which is a rare occurrence).
